Development of Growth Model for Grafted Hot Pepper Seedlings as Affected by Air Temperature and Light Intensity

The objective of this study was to develop a growth model for grafted hot pepper seedlings as affected by air temperature and light intensity. After union formation, the were cultivated in various environmental factors terms four levels, mean daily (17, 22, 27, 32 °C) 3 levels intensity (150, 350, 550 ?mol·m?2·s?1). traits measured 0, 7, 14, 21, 28 days after formation (DAGU). plant height improved, development leaves enhanced higher temperature. number greatest under combination high intensity, resulting 39.0/plant at DAGU. leaf area dry weight showed 491.9 cm2/plant 2.68 g/plant, respectively, DAGU °C ?mol·m?2·s?1 changes rapidly increased followed analysis curve. beta distribution developed, relative rate (RGR) simulated model, maximum RGR predicted 0.116 g·g·d?1. 0.113, 0.127, 0.109 g·g·d?1 10, 20, 30 temperature, improved 12% increasing 10 °C, without going over 25 ADT. Results indicated that developed might be applied optimal control maximized production seedlings.
